Introduction to databases using Filemaker Pro 7
This class is an introduction to the principles of databases with a secondary emphasis on using Filemaker. What makes a database different from a spreadsheet? How can databases be used to manage mailing lists and other records? Participants will see what the key factors of database theory and practices are and learn skills related to using and managing a database. The presenter has experience using Filemaker databases for management of mailing and contact lists, equipment inventories, service records as well as trouble ticketing. This is the first in a series of database sessions.
