The mother of all iPods?
IBM made the first iPod?

Actually, that's a 1964 IBM 1403 printer playing these tunes!
Engineers with lots of extra time on their hands figured out which lines of characters to print to make sounds at a various pitches corresponding to musical notes. They translated that information to a deck of punched cards and fed them into the printer and bingo, there you go -- music!
